Outdoor and At Home Hire Policy

At The Buzz Party Co, we are pleased to offer our hire packages for outdoor use during the spring and summer months, specifically from April to September. To ensure the best possible experience for all our clients, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following terms relating to outdoor and at-home hire:

1.Outdoor Use Period

​

Outdoor hires are available only between April and September, and are subject to safe and suitable weather conditions.

​

Please note: Our Mini Gym Package is not suitable for outdoor hire under any circumstances.

​

2. Weather Contingency

​

As part of your booking, you agree to monitor the local weather forecast in the days leading up to your event. Should adverse weather be forecast—such as rain, high winds, or any other conditions deemed unsuitable — you must arrange a suitable indoor alternative location to host the hire equipment. The company reserves the right to decline setup if conditions are deemed unsafe or likely to cause damage to our equipment. In such cases, without a suitable indoor alternative, the booking may be cancelled without refund.

3. Rainy Day Guarantee

​

We understand that the weather can be unpredictable, and we want to provide you with peace of mind when booking with us. If no suitable indoor alternative can be arranged due to poor weather, your booking will be covered by our Rainy Day Guarantee.

​

This means you may reschedule your party to a future date, subject to availability, at no additional cost.

​

To activate the Rainy Day Guarantee:

​

  • You must notify us of your intention to reschedule at least 24 hours prior to your event start time.

  • We will work with you to find a new date that suits you, based on our availability.

​

Please note: Rescheduling on the day of the event is not guaranteed and will be considered only in exceptional circumstances.

​

4. At-Home Policy

​

We welcome bookings at private homes, whether indoors or in gardens, provided that there is adequate, safe, and accessible space for setup. Please ensure the area is clean, level, and free of obstructions.

​

Important: The Mini Gym Package is not available for at-home hire, whether indoors or outdoors, due to equipment size, safety, and set-up requirements. This package is suitable only for approved venues with adequate facilities.

​

Minimum space requirements for other hire packages are as follows: 

​

  • Soft Play: up to 4.5 m x 3 m

  • Picnic Hire: 1.2 m x up to 4 m

  • Sensory Tables: 1 m x 2.5 m

  • Hat Shelf: 1 m x 0.5 m

  • Costume Rail: 0.6 m x 0.5 m

​

When booking for home use, please:

​

  • Measure the intended space in advance and confirm it meets the above dimensions.

  • Ensure clear access to the setup area, including any gates, paths, or doorways.

  • Inform us of any stairs, narrow passages, or other factors that may affect access.

  • Where possible, provide nearby access to a power source (if required for your package).

​

We reserve the right to decline setup if the space is unsuitable or access is obstructed.

 

5. Customer Responsibility

​

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate information regarding the event location, access conditions, and available space. If your booking is outdoors, we strongly recommend confirming an indoor alternative at the time of booking in case of poor weather.
